fifa15guide : FIFA 16 News: Best FIFA 16 Wishlist and Rumored Improvements

fifa 16 new

FIFA 16 is only months away and we can tell that anticipation is building. Full FIFA has compiled the ultimate BEST wishlist and rumored improvements for the next installment of the FIFA series – FIFA 16. In this slide show we will list possible improvements for FIFA 16 and the ultimate wishlist for FIFA gamers.

Gameplay changes needed

  • Handballs are never given FIFA 15. This feature must be included in the next installment.
  • There needs to be realistic stadium attendees. The only time the Emptihad (Arsenal’s Etihad stadium) is full is on FIFA. A possible suggestion is make fans boycott the stadium after a derby loss.
  • If a player is injured or banned in real life, they shouldn’t be available to play online.
  • As a manager in Carreer mode I should be able to choose opponents in friendly matches
  • Reactions of subbed players on “ALL PLATFORMS.” Anybody remember Dani Alves kicking that bottle to Jupiter?
  • Where you can select “winner gets all XP” you should be able to do the same on FUT with coins.
  • Make manager’s reactions realistic like missed shots or change in tactics.
  • Have the ball landing indicator EVERY time the ball goes in the air.
  • At the end of Online Friendlies, the game stats should be up along with the season standings. Currently, you have to decline continuing in the season in order to see the match stats.
  • When a player is injured, have the players and ref surround him and show the medics carrying him off.

Note: Be mindful that all changes cannot be implemented. Remember the EA servers when considering the wishlist.

fifa15guide : Did EA Legitimately Address the FIFA 15 Price Range Update?

The FIFA 15 Price Range update introduced by EA has received a lot of backlash over the past couple of weeks. The franchise holds to the fact that coin sellers had introduced an unfair gaming environment in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team. The criticism has been ongoing as gamers frustration continue to be heard over social media.

The most prominent expression of FUT gamers is the #RIPFUT hashtag, signifying “Rest in peace FIFA Ultimate Team.”

Here’s what EA had to say . . .

The changes consisted of a new price ranges on all players in FUT, which means every player can only be sold for a price with in a specific range, and made accessing the transfer market via the webpage or companion app impossible, all in a bid to stop illegitimate coin sellers and farmers who, EA claimed, were “harming your experience” as they inflated the market by flooding the economy with fraudulent in-game currency. This led to the rise in cost of players, making the highest rated players hard to attain.

Putting price restrictions on the footballers also makes it quite difficult for coins to be bought by the players in the most traditional and easiest way, as a lowly rated card can no longer be purchased for an unrealistically high amount of coins.

These changes have been met with brunt criticism from players, with many saying that it has changed the core Ultimate Experience and think that the move it little more than EA penny grabbing.

But EA have defended their decision in a recent blog post, saying they want the game to be fair and fun for every player.

They said:

“Since implementing these changes, we’re seeing positive signs of restoring balance to the FUT economy and mitigating some of the negative effects of exploitation within the game.”

However, mechanical problems have arisen from the price ranges too, as claims have been made that some players have been priced out of the market, as they’re unsellable and unattainable.

EA are combating this by constantly adjusting the price ranges of players and said that:

“Since the introduction of Price Ranges, we’ve already made more than 650 adjustments to player pricing, with a focus on the highest value players available in the FUT economy. The introduction of Price Ranges has helped restrict illegitimate coin transfers on the FUT Transfer Market, and balance player item prices so they reflect the current marketplace, but finding that right balance will take some time – we have a team dedicated to finding that balance.”

Most see EA’s efforts as a way to further monopolize the market for soccer gaming. People consider it pure greed.

How do you feel about the new Price Range update? Did they provide a legitimate reason for the Price Range update?

Is it possible to hide team names on FUT?

So I’ve been watching a fairly big steamer on twitch lately, cause I haven’t had much else to do. But I noticed that he was playing vs team name of just “-“. I thought, that’s weird. But then he played again, team name is “-“.

Again was a bit weird. So I watch again today, and yep always vs “-“. And he never shows the search for a game or the bit where you get coins after the game. So I check his YouTube, yep all teams are “-“. And the search is always hidden.

So I asked in the chat to the response, from someone else, “it’s a security setting”. So I’ve checked both the xbox security settings and the ones within FIFA. Nothing that would change the team name in FUT.

So is this guy just playing against a friend every single game or is there a way to show every team you play against as only a dash?

FIFA 15 Learned some HARSH lessons tonight! LOL

1. I am not a good dribbler. I can do a couple basics. But there were these two consecutive teams I played tonight and they were absolute boss at dribbling. Could do anything, with anyone. It was so fun to play them. Beat one, drew the other. It was a pleasure and I’d have totally been fine with losing. These guys were basically FIFA STREET players. Was beautiful to see.

2. Use strong players. Down to my last game for promotion. Needed a point. Although I was actually indifferent to getting promoted, to be honest, no one likes to lose either. But I decided to play a 4-4-2 Man Utd team – should be fine right? Well, I used basically their reserves cuz I was too cheap to buy fitness cards. Despite actually playing pretty well this guy destroyed me on shooting and he won 7-3. I should have scored 5 or 6, to be fair, and James Wilson who came on at half should have scored 3 himself (he got 1). For the record, I stayed in D3. The lesson is, use strong squads, keep players in their normal positions – LOL I used Jones at RB and Rojo at LB If I was better at this game prob could have got the win or draw out of it. I certainly had enough scoring chances! Also, when down 4-1 I just went all out attack, cuz why not.

FIFA Career Mode since 2008 and this year is the first year career mode

I play FIFA Career Mode since 2008 and this year is the first year career mode irritates me. We are now in the so called ‘next-generation’ console games but FIFA is sticking in the past. The main future career mode got this year was the new interface and timewasting. Personally I like the new interface and hate timewasting. I just played a game West Ham United – Crystal Palace. Score 1-1, 78th minute. Crystal Palace decides to waste some time at the corner flag resulting in 12 game minutes frustration. It’s almost impossible to get the ball back and set up a decend attack. All that happens during timewasting is throw ins and corners.

Now I’ll sum up my suggested improvements.

– Realistic attacks
All teams in career mode attack the same way. Yes you can pressure higher up or do a counter attack, but a counter attack never feels like a counter attack. I want those Real Madrid and Dortmund like switch from slow pace to high pace counters.

– Realistic defending
This is something that irritates me. EA says that FIFA 15 feels the game and “it just got real”. Look at defending. Not defence, but playter-to-player defending. Not a single player defends his target, neither closing up. When I have a goalkick I can easily give a long ball to my RW and I can easily take control on the ball. While in real life there is constantly contact between players off the ball. I don’t see that in FIFA 15.

– Increase and decrease of income, fans, sponsors etc.
I like to start in the 3th or 4th division of England and make my 1 star team a Champions Cup winner. But I miss those 2006, 2008 options to upgrade my stadium, trainingground etc. I want to play in a small stadium to make money to build a bigger one. Just some standard upgrades are fine but the engine of FIFA Manager where you can build your own stadium would be perfect. Just like new sponsor contracts. I’m that type of guy that plays seasons with one team until 2024. But there is never a sponsor switch. Then we have the point we all had. Losing 3 or 4 games in a row. When you play with Arsenal or Manchester United or whatever, losing 4 games in a row means there will be less supporters in a stadium. Same like a cup game Arsenal – Ball over the Fence FC. But still the Emirates Stadium is sold out.

– Creation Centre
I liked the creation centre concept and would love to see this in career mode. For example, pay 2,5 million pound to design a new away kit for the new seasons. Implementing this wouldn’t be that hard, will it? Maybe you can create a new stadium here too.

– Supporter
This FIFA supporters had a upgrade but i’m not that impressed. Only in the Premier League they added some chants, but it’s still not the ambience as in a real game. Also, those random flags in the long side of the stadium botter me. Just like those copy paste flags at the bordings and why is everyone wearing a football shirt of their club? Look at a real stadium mostly the fanatic supporters wear the kits, others are just casual dressed.

Besides the improvements gameplay wise these visual improvement will make the game better. Do you agree? And what should I add to the list. BTW i’m from the Netherlands so sorry for my grammar.

FIFA 15’s best players compete for place at Interactive World Cup

Nation’s top Playstation 4 players take part in tournament to reach grand final in Munich, Thom Gibbs goes along to see them

Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge has seen its fair share of drama. League titles won, relegations in embryonic play-offs suffered, and most recently, a Champions League exit at the hands of a team that paid £50m for David Luiz.

But little can compete with the excitement generated by the UK qualifier for the Fifa Interactive World Cup, a competition to find the best FIFA15 player in the world.
Competitors came to the John Hollins suite in Stamford Bridge’s West Stand from all over the UK as they attempted to seal a place at the competition’s grand final, which will be held in Munich this July.

Thom Gibbs travelled to West London to witness the event, and spoke to some of the country’s top FIFA players, including beaten finalist Dave Bytheway and Jack Daniels.

The winner of the qualifier was presented with a ticket to the final by Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta, who gave some advice on coping with pressure.

“I’ve had the chance to play for one of the biggest club in the world, Chelsea and for Spain, a World Cup winner and two-time European champion,” he said, “and the pressure is there to win every single game. It’s always the same.”

“If you are nervous you cannot play your game and you are not going to be 100 per cent. The most important thing is to try to be as relaxed as possible and to enjoy it. That’s what I do in big games.

“Sometimes I am more nervous than others, but always, I try to be as relaxed as I can.”

FIFA 15 Players Snap Their Discs in Protest Following Ultimate Team Changes

RIPFUT began trending last night after an update to FIFA 15 saw price ranges added to Ultimate Team, its most popular (and profitable) game mode, essentially nullifying the illegitimate coin transfers, a tactic which many use in order to increase their in-game wallet.

While EA has been planning to implement methods in order to prevent unofficial coin transfers from taking place, the news still hasn’t gone down well with FIFA players, with some even posting photos on social media of their game discs snapped in half, or threats to play Pro Evolution Soccer instead, FIFA‘s closest rival.

Many believed these changes would make their way into FIFA 16, but it appears that EA has chosen to introduce them in FIFA 15 in order to soften the blow for when the next game comes around. Here’s how the addition of price ranges will impact upon FIFA 15‘s Ultimate Team mode:

All Price Ranges will be universal across Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
When you list an item on the Transfer Market, the range at which an item can be sold will appear. These price ranges will be set by the FIFA Team based on analysis of past Transfer Market prices.
Open bid transfers will be unavailable after Price Ranges have been activated. In order to list an item on the Transfer Market, you will have to set a “Buy It Now” price within the Price Range.
The Price Range for each FUT item will be set wide enough for you to still enjoy trading on the Transfer Market.
The Price Range for certain players may be adjusted in the future as we work to improve this feature over time.
New ‘in-form’ FUT player items will receive a Price Range upon release.
Many have pointed to this being an example of EA’s money-grubbing, with websites selling FIFA coins being a huge part of the game’s community and a source of income for many YouTubers who specialize in FIFA gameplay footage. Now that these unofficial coin transfers have been taken out by EA, this will now mean there is once again a larger emphasis placed upon packs, which offer a very low percentage for acquiring rare players, let alone Team of the Week/Month/Year cards.

With so many being of the opinion that this could effectively destroy the transfer market as we know now it and spell a big dip in popularity for Ultimate Team in general, EA will perhaps need to do something to coax players threatening to quit the game to return to it, perhaps by increasing the percentages of obtaining rare players from packs. Then again, it’s likely that this is another case of people insincerely threatening to boycott a game/developer/publisher, only to come crawling back when the next iteration in the series rolls around.

FIFA 15 1.05 PS4 update live with notes

The new FIFA 15 1.05 update just went live today on PS4, which has a file size of 328.3MB with detailed patch notes as well. Normally, when you click update history on PS4 game icons you won’t see a detailed changelog for many games, although this FIFA 15 PS4 update on March 9 has full patch notes given.

We have included a couple of screenshots on this page that detail the file size and latest update history for FIFA 15 on PlayStation 4. You can clearly see the 328.3 MB size, much smaller than many downloads, and also the full 1.05 PS4 update notes. Again, the list of changes isn’t particularly long.

The patch includes stability improvements to Friendly Seasons in Ultimate Team Seasons, other improved functionality to the Compare Price feature in FUT, and other stability issues have been fixed on PS4 in Pro Clubs, Online Seasons, and EASFC Match Day Challenges. You will also see the MLS expansion teams have been added to the “Rest of World” league for Online Matches and Kick-off, which include New York City FC and Orlando City.

Did your FIFA 15 PS4 update install without problems, or did your download hit an issue? If you did have any issues, or even think something is missing from this update, then we would love to hear about it.

Thibaut Courtois is the best FIFA 15 player at Chelsea

Thibaut Courtois just can’t stop winning things, with the Chelsea goalkeeper this time taking the title of club’s best FIFA 15 player.

This is according to his teammate Cesar Azpilicueta, who revealed that the young Belgian is not only the safest hands in London, but also the most revered gamer in the Chelsea dressing room.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Azpilicueta said: “Thibaut is the best.” Although the Spaniard doesn’t too shabby himself, adding: “[Last time we played] it was a draw, I’m not too bad. I’ve spent a couple of hours playing.”

Azpilicueta was appearing at the FIFA Interactive Cup: UK Qualifiers where he actually beat the eventual winner 3-0. But perhaps the champion, Dean Coombes, will blame fatigue for this surprise defeat.

The Chelsea full-back says that his expertise likely come from a spell he spent out injured a few years, although he does believe that being a professional football also helps when playing virtually.
