There has been new talks about league additions in FIFA 16. According to a reliable source, EA Sports is planing on adding new leagues such as Brazil, Chile, and three more South American leagues.

Out of the five new leagues, FIFA is more sure about adding the Chilean league due to the confirmation received from a Chilean Football Federation spokesperson.

EA Sport also targeted the Brazilian league and championship for the licensing of the league. EA are currently in negotiations,  but there has  been no agreement as yet for FIFA16.

FIFA 16 fans are most likely going to see and enjoy playing with the South American Leagues addition, which include leagues like Mexico, Argentina and Columbia .

The growth in the sports popularity, since the 2014 World Cup, is driving EA to give their fans more variety, by including new leagues. EA’s rival Konami (Pro Evolution Soccer) is trying to improve as well so it will be a rat race between the two franchises to secure these leagues.

fifa15guide : FIFA 15: The Virtual Race

EA’s official Twitter account released a picture containing the stats of Premier League , Ligue 1 and Bundesliga earlier this month. The picture showed the top five sporting clubs in each league, as they end their 2014/15 season.

They also tallied up the number of goals scored, top five scorers and top five fixtures per league. The picture has many more interesting stats like the top five traded players in the game.
Check out the stats for the Bundesliga.

It is not surprising that 4 Bayern Munich player made the list as the top 5scorer in the league.  EA recorded that Lewandowski scored 57.5 M goals, toping the rest of his teammates and league.

Per the stats of the pic, it is clear to see that  Bayern Munich is the go to in Bundesliga for FIFA gamers .

Even though Arjen Robben is second to Lewandowski in goals scored, the midfielder is a dynamic force for Bayern Munich. Robben’s ability to break down an opponents defense  makes Bayern Munich a very hard team to beat, especially with Manuel Neuer in the goal.

Take a look at Ligue 1.

Paris Saint Germain is the the favorite team to use in Ligue 1, according FIFA 15’s in game data. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has twice the amount of goal to his second runner up, Alexandre Lacazette. In addition to Ibrahimovic, PSG has a lot of players who can find the back of the net such as Cavani , Lucas and Lavezzi.  With these caliber of players, PSG will always be the favorite ligue 1 team for FIFA players.

The most played match in Ligue 1 is between AS Monaco and PSG.

Stats for the Premier League.

From the FIFA in game data, you can tell that FIFA players love a little Premier League rivalry. The data shows that Diego Costa is a powerhouse in the game and in the real life season. Costa leads the league with most goal scored at 56.5M.

Interestingly, Laurent Koscielny is the most traded players in the Ultimate Team mode for FIFA 15, when it comes to teams from England.

fifa 16 cover - messi

Lionel Messi is a paradigm for excellence. He has graced the cover of EA Sports’ FIFA series more times than any other player. FIFA 16 cover is no different. The Argentine wizard is currently tipped to feature on the next installment of the FIFA series. This would be Messi’s fifth appearance on a FIFA cover after featuring on FIFA Street, FIFA 13, FIFA 14 and FIFA 15.

Messi has spearheaded his countrymen to the FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil last summer. He has so far broken the Champions League scoring record and has numerous accolades to his name. In addition, he will be vying for Europe’s most prestigious crown when Barcelona faces Juventus in the UEFA Champions League final on June 6th.

Moreover, Messi has lead the South American MSN trio (Messi-Suarez-Neymar) to another successful campaign in La Liga. There’s no question he should be the global cover athlete for FIFA 16. For each regional version of the title, other players from those areas or leagues will be added to the cover alongside Messi to appeal to consumers in that region. The regional cover athletes have not yet been revealed, but the solo Messi art can more or less be confirmed.

FIFA 16 is set for release on September 22 in North America and days later in other parts of the world.
